It's kind of embarrassing that at nineteen years old, I just attended my first concert this week. It was everything I could have hoped it would be and more. My best friend, Elizabeth drove to see me and we met up with our other best friend Cambria at the NC Music Factory to see the Fray. Barcelona opened for them and they were just as good. We had lawn seats and brought a big blanket to spread out on. About one song into the Fray's set, it started to drizzle, and it rained for the rest of the concert. I feel like the rain made the concert so much better! We all ditched the ponchos and danced in the rain like a bunch of hippies. We fed off of the energy of the rain and had a blast. At the very end of the concert the lead singer let everyone create a mosh pit and Elizabeth and I pushed our way all the way to the front of the stage. We screamed for an encore and boy did they deliver. Nights like these remind me why it feels so good to be young. We got absolutely soaked but it didn't dampen our mood (see what I did there.) My outfit was wonderful before it got soaked, but I wanted to share the night with you even more than the clothes.
