When I find a new blog, connecting with the creator is what keeps me interested in coming back. My name is Lauren Millsaps and I created Lauren's Lookbook to document my long standing love for fashion. I am a pre-law student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I love fall, history, and Harry Potter. Instead of giving you my life's story, I thought it would be easier to play twenty questions.

1. Favorite animal?
Giraffe! I'm 5'9 and I usually tower over my friends. Combine that with my lack of coordination and you can see why I relate best with these awkward creatures.

2. Describe your style?
Modern Classic. I like to always have a few trendy pieces but I prefer to invest in clothes that I think will last at least a few years. I love cremes and luxe fabrics, as well as anything that sparkles. My favorite fashion houses are Bailman, Lanvin, Chanel, and Prada. I mostly shop at JCrew, ASOS, Banana Republic, and Forever 21.

3. Pick a superhero!
Batman all the way. Also, my grandma; that woman is perfect, supportive, and the most amazing person I know. She absolutely has superpowers.

4. Favorite Word?
Positive.  

5. Occupation?
I work for a political campaign currently along with being a part time photographer!

6. Biggest Fear?
I try not to have any fears and have been working on being less hesitant, but my fears are less tangible than skydiving and spiders. I fear losing my loved ones, rejection, and missing out on opportunities.

7. Favorite Color?
Blush pink, cremes and shimmers, and gold!

8. Favorite Season?
Absolutely fall. I hate the heat of summer and I love to wear lots of layers and autumn colors. Fashion is all about fall and winter, and I always miss dressing like a Malfoy during the cold months. Also, fall means the arrival of my birthday, leaves changing colors, halloween, and school starting back. The nerd in me has always loved going back to school!

9. Sweet or Salty?
Sweet! I have the biggest sweet tooth and can't stay away from sweet tea, cupcakes, and macarons!

10. Sports?
Golf is the only sport I play but I love watching Hockey, Basketball, and Football. In that order.

11. Relationships?
To be decided

12. Dream Car?
I love my Toyota Camry! If money was no object I would probably go for a 1964 Aston Martin Vanquish. In red please. Or a Tesla.

13. Bad Habit?
I have a hard time saying no and it gets me into trouble sometimes. Also, I am stubborn but am trying to work on that as well!! Always improving!

14. Favorite magazine?
If I had to pick one for "all around" it would be Glamour. Glamour has fashion as well as amazing articles and life tips. Its the Seventeen for adult. I also love Marie Claire, Vogue, and W.

15. Hobbies?
Reading, Daydreaming, Kayaking, watching movies, traveling, going to sports events, photography.

16. Favorite bands?
Coldplay, U2, The Temper Trap, Passion Pit, and Weezer. Favorite composers are Debussy and Chopin.

17. Dream travel locations?
Everywhere! Paris, London, Amazon Rainforest, Hawaii, Norway, New Zealand, Western USA!

18. Favorite places to be?
Biltmore House, any library, with my friends and family, some beach somewhere.
